Dönmeh Judaism was originally part of the religious Southern Jurisdiction of Judah (i.e. Rabbinic Judaism) and instead became part of Alevi-Bektashi Judaism of the religious Northern Jurisdiction of Israel.

Dönmeh Judaism is a branch of Sabbatean Judaism and did in the 17th century become part of the Northern Jurisdiction of Israel, meaning that it is now outside of Rabbinic Judaism which together with Karaite Judaism make up the Southern Jurisdiction of Judah. Hasidic Judaism was founded and is still led by hereditary Hasidic Rebbes, patrilineal descendants of rabbi Sabbatai Zevi (1626-1667), the founder of Sabbatean Judaism. Reform Judaism and Conservative Judaism were also founded by rabbinically Jewish Sabbateans and hence their break with what later became known as Orthodox Judaism. Dönmeh Judaism is a component of Alevi-Bektashi Judaism; the four main demographic components of Alevi-Bektashi Judaism being Alevis, Bektashis, Dönmeh and Pakradunis (originally Armenian Alevis). There are about one million Dönmeh in the Near East and the Balkans (especially among ethnically Albanian Bektashis), most of whom are are are either Alevis and/or Bektashis who are descended from the Alevi and Bektashi followers of Sabbatai Zevi.
Sabbatai Zevi was a Sephardic (Judeo-Iberian) rabbi of Romaniote (Judeo-Greek) ethnic origin. Sabbatai Zevi was raised as the secret Messiah of the Generation and the nominal sacerdotal King of Israel and he was as are all genetic kohanim a direct patrilineal descendant of King David. However he who broke the rules and naively went public without having the requisite political skills and secular political power for effectively dealing with the political world outside of Rabbinic Judaism.
Rabbinic Judaism is undoubtedly the most secretive form of religion anywhere, even far more secretive than Priestly Judaism of Median Judaism in the Middle East such as Alevi-Bektashi Judaism. Halakhah therefore are the clothes that cover the Sumerian historical origin and later Egyptian Atenist historical founding of Judaism. Dönmeh Judaism is supposed to be very secretive but it is actually Rabbinic Judaism that is so secret that its secretiveness has been kept a secret for millennia.
After the political failure of Sabbatai Zevi was he ritually renounced throughout the rabbinically Jewish world in order so as to protect his life from the threat of execution by the Ottoman authorities. Although Rabbinic Judaism and the Jewish people were devised so as to become the home of successive incarnations of the Messiah of the Generation did Sabbatai Zevi venture from the Southern Jurisdiction of Judah to the Northern Jurisdiction of Israel by means of joining Alevi-Bektashi Judaism, specifically the Bektashi order as he had already gained substantial following among Alevis and Bektashis.
2. Divine Hierarchy
So called monotheism is actually not substantially different from polytheism in that the pantheon itself is simply referred to as “angels” of various hierarchic rank. Dönmeh Judaism is simply Judaism without the exoteric clothes of lifestyle rabbinic halakhah, meaning originally a form of Sumerian religion. Judaism like virtually all religions believe in transmigration of souls and the Hebrew Bible literally describes “god” as not being almighty. Deities/angels are clearly described in anthropomorphic terms as is indeed the case in virtually all religions.
The narratives of the Torah/Pentateuch are Sumerian in origin and Israelite historical narratives as prior to King David are exoteric narratives referring to Sumerian and Egyptian history. Although Judaism is originally a form of Sumerian religion was the transgender Pharaoh Akhenaten however the founder of Judaism which was originally known as Atenism.
The origin of the androgynous god of Israel (a deity known for love and war) is the masculinized Sumerian goddess Inanna; the goddess of sexuality and war. Dönmeh Judaism teaches esoteric Judaism without halakhic lifestyle observance while the closely related Hasidic Judaism in contrast is the most halakhically stringent form of Rabbinic Judaism.
The human angelic hierarchy in Dönmeh Judaism was seen as having the following levels: 1) God/Inanna, 2) the seven archangels reincarnated as human septuplets, 3) other human gods and 4) human angels. While God/Inanna is considered as reincarnating within Rabbinic Judaism were the seven archangels considered as reincarnating within Dönmeh Judaism.
One reason why the Ottoman authorities were seriously annoyed by Sabbatai Zevi was his popularity among Alevis and Bektashis; Crypto-Jewish communities of the Northern Jurisdiction of Judaism who of course when politically necessary outwardly pretended to be nominal Muslims. There was thus apparently a very serious political concern that Sabbatai Zevi was proselytizing Rabbinic Judaism to two demographically highly significant categories of Crypto-Jews who in political and legal terms were considered nominal Muslims by the Ottoman authorities.
The original core Dönmeh community of rabbinically Jewish origin did however join the Bektashi order together with Sabbatai Zevi. Sabbatai Zevi was raised as the sacerdotal King of Israel, in Bektashi terminology the Messiah of the Generation and Orthodox Rabbinic Judaism similarly believes that there is a person “in every generation” with the potential of becoming “the mashiach”.
Dönmeh Judaism had their own synagogues while at the same time being part of the Bektashi order and outwardly like other Bektashis to varying degrees sometimes claiming to be Muslims. Mustafa Kemal “Atatürk” (1881-1938) historically became the most important historical personality in the history of the Dönmeh community after Sabbatai Zevi. While the historical persona of Sabbatai Zevi marked the beginning of the core endogamous Dönmeh community of rabbinically Jewish origin did the secularization policies of Mustafa Kemal initiate and indeed spell the end of the core endogamous Dönmeh community.
There was long a policy of strict endogamy in the core Dönmeh community, meaning that they did not usually marry Alevi Dönmeh and Bektashi Dönmeh, descendants of Alevi and Bektashi followers of Sabbatai Zevi. This was done in order so as as to keep secret the fact that Alevis and Bektashis no less than the core Dönmeh themselves remain halakhically Jewish. The secularization policies in Turkey under the control of Mustafa Kemal and later the Dönmeh-led Derin Devlet was however more successful in the core Dönmeh community than in any other ethnic or religious group in Turkey in leading to concerns among the religious leaders of the core Dönmeh community that the core Dönmeh community would see effective dissolution by means of intermarriage with secular Muslims. Marriage with Dönmeh Alevis and Dönmeh Bektashis therefore became religiously permitted and led to a situation where the original core Dönmeh community has both demographically vastly expanded and at the same time integrated into the wider Alevi-Bektashi Dönmeh community, the descendants of the Alevi and Bektashi adherents of Sabbatai Zevi.
There are also nominally Muslim Dönmeh such as the Barzani clan, known in the Hebrew Bible as the Barzillai kohanim and who constitute the surviving princely branch of the Jewish Royal House of Adiabene. The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) under the leadership of the Barzani clan as sponsored by Israel twice formed its own statelet in Iraqi Kurdistan and although the first attempt tragically collapsed, did the second attempt become more successful as the three statelets of Free Kurdistan remain in place with the crucial security support of the Israeli intelligence community and the political advocacy by the organized American Jewish community.
Zoroastrianism was an historical phase in the history of Median Judaism under the Persian Empire and contemporary forms of Priestly Judaism of Median Judaism in the Middle East are indeed surviving pieces of Zoroastrianism, meaning at the time the core Median Judaism. As in Zoroastrianism is the world in Dönmeh Judaism seen as being in a state of permanent celestial conflict between the forces of good and the forces of evil.
Dönmeh Judaism as many other forms of Judaism have engaged in religious eugenics for the breeding of divinity, including the assumed reincarnation of divine septuplets, a.k.a. “archangels”. Rabbinically Jewish genetic groups that have developed higher genotypic average IQs than historically surrounding genetic populations include Ashkenazi Jews, Sephardi Jews and Mizrahi Jews. Para-Jewish communities that have similarly have developed higher average intelligence than historically surrounding genetic populations include Mandaeans (the first Levites of Sumer), various Aramean genetic groups, various Dönmeh genetic groups, Brahmins, Jains, Parsis and Kerala Jewish Christians.
The soul of God/Inanna is seen as transmigrating from generation to generation (usually patrilineally from grandfather to grandson) and religious eugenics is therefore seen as a providing a breeding context for increasingly more advanced incarnations of Inanna until the birth of the most powerful incarnation of Inanna ever as considered powerful enough to take on and defeat the celestial forces of evil.
The descendants of Sabbatai Zevi multiplied within Ashkenazi Rabbinic Judaism as Inanna was considered as reincarnating within Ashkenazi Rabbinic Judaism and hence the historically spectacular phenomenon of Ashkenazi genius with one in five of all historical nobel prize laureates having Jewish ancestry, usually specifically Ashkenazi ancestry. Genetically Ashkenazi Jews have however like the core Dönmeh community increasingly genetically dissolved by means of marriage with other genetic groups, both in Israel and in the Diaspora.
Redemptive history is seen as one long waiting history of religious eugenics until an incarnation of Inanna (the Mashiach) is born who is powerful enough to obliterate the celestial forces of evil which in contemporary parlance would probably be described as “extraterrestrial”.
Organized religion generally is seen as a vehicle of protection against the celestial forces of evil although often taken over by the celestial forces of evil themselves. God, gods (including the seven “archangels”) and angels therefore dwell on earth while forces of evil dominate space.
The Mashiach as the most powerful incarnation of Inanna ever is not only expected to take on and obliterate the celestial forces of evil but is indeed expected to redeem humanity and bring it back to the Sumerian origins of Median Judaism to which almost the entire humanity was syncretistically converted. God/Inanna is considered as having first emerged in Sumer, the first human civilization through an historical event that would today probably be described as simply a genetic mutation.
The expected Mashiach as the most advanced incarnation of Inanna ever is therefore not only seen as what in contemporary parlance would probably be described as a “space warrior” but also a worldly majesty with a program for worldwide redemption, meaning an extremely eminent international political leader. The messianic project is therefore conceived of as both a military challenge of space war and an earthly political project indeed.
The Messiah of the Generation did in the early 20th century leave Hasidic Judaism and together with many other secular Zionist leaders of Sabbatean origin became instrumental in the founding of the State of Israel, the real name of which is the Kingdom of Israel. The first KDP statelet in Iraqi Kurdistan was founded thanks to the Messiah of the Generation whose mother was born in the Dönmeh Barzani clan and he spent considerable time leading the Kurdish war against the Iraqi army. The Messiah of the Generation led the Israeli defense, security and intelligence branches but largely stayed out of civilian politics and was many months after his demise succeeded by an infant grandchild as religiously recognized as the Messiah of the Generation.
There is really no dispute in Rabbinic Judaism or even in Priestly Judaism of Median Judaism in the Middle East as to the divine lineage of the Messiah of the Generation. Yet the infant status of the second hereditary head of state of modern Israel caused a permanent constitutional crisis with rival factions of the Mossad effectively usurping the political functions of a constitutional monarchy.
The celestial forces of evil are described as extremely intelligent parasitical beings that appear in two main forms, one as resembling gargantuan octopuses; in some species gray and in some species black and the other vaguely resembling large black dogs. They are referred to as Evil of Evils and are described as being able to morph, teleport and make themselves partly visually and tactilely “invisible”. The first and most dangerous type is described as “devils” and the second type as “demons”.
As parasitical animals are these described as “dragons” (i.e. presumably surviving dinosaurs) that parasitically telepathically attach themselves to human beings and this is described in many cultures as demonic possession. A (human) god who completes the parasitical process of evilization is referred to as a “devil” while a (human) angel who completes the parasitical process of evilization is similarly referred to as a “demon”. A human devil could in extreme cases have sexual ear intercourse with a tentacle of an EoE devil involving the EoE devil sexually planting eggs in the brain of the human devil in thus turning the human devil into an infectoid.
Evil of Evils were seen as far more intelligent than humans and having exercised significant influence over human affairs and not only by trying to take over religions but also through totalitarian ideologies. Historical persona such as Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Saddam Hussein are regarded as among the most dangerous human devils who became extremely evil infectoids as totalitarian movements were seen as controlled by EoEs. However, Evil of Evils were not regarded as the only “dragons” that would parasitically attach themselves to humans as other such parasitical species were considered to have done so as well.
Sabbateanism has spawned successive movements leading to secularization, including Zionism itself, yet Hasidic Judaism as one main branch of Sabbatean Judaism is paradoxically the most halakhically stringent religious stream in Rabbinic Judaism. Kemalism along with Zionism, secular Kurdish nationalism, Reform Judaism and Conservative Judaism are thus all effectively secularizing movements that originated in Sabbatean Judaism.
Politics has always been important to Sabbateans in ensuring endogamous survival and religious eugenics as awaiting the coming of the ultimate incarnation of God/Inanna. Endogamous religious eugenics is seen as providing a genetic context for the breeding of God/Inanna. If one Jewish/Para-Jewish community were to be destroyed would God/Inanna be able to continue reincarnating in yet another Jewish/Para-Jewish religious denomination.
Mustafa Kemal is considered as an historically failure as his project of ending Islam in the Republic of Turkey failed and his secularization policies furthermore effectively destroyed endogamy in the core Dönmeh community.
The assimilation of the core Dönmeh community in the Republic of Turkey into the wider Alevi-Bektashi Dönmeh community eventually changed the political priorities of the Derin Devlet from exclusively representing the interests of the core Dönmeh community into representing the interests of and therefore protecting the wider Alevi-Bektashi community in Turkey and Bakur (North Kurdistan).
9. Ritual Sexuality
Dönmeh, Alevis and Bektashis are in Turkey infamously accused by many Muslims of engaging in anonymous sexual orgies in dark rooms subsequent to the Alevi-Bektashi equivalent of Havdalah as part of the Cem religious ceremonies. However, were this true (and it certainly is not) would most Dönmeh have been afflicted with sexually transmitted diseases (STD).
Alevi-Bektashi Judaism permits secondary marriage (Turkish Musahiplik) between two already married couples who may thus engage in sexual relations among each other (although most do not), including partner swapping and same-sex sexual relations. Unmarried females can engage in religious ritual group sex among each other as ritual sexual preparation for marriage. An Alevi-Bektashi priestess of Inanna is known as an Ana (Sumerian Inanna) who serves musical purposes in performing religious music for the Alevi-Bektashi community but who may also engage in religiously permitted sexual relations with fellow Anas. The Dönmeh as part of the Bektashi order can engage in these religiously permitted forms of ritual sexuality as part of Alevi-Bektashi Judaism. These sacred practices of religious ritual sexuality originated in ancient Sumerian religion which had Temples of Love and have survived in Median Judaism of the Middle East.
10. Nature of God
As God/Inanna reincarnates as a human being is God/Inanna both human and the most powerful of all gods. God is therefore seen as having two sides, the more human Dinanna (D*Inanna) and the less human-like Inanna who is believed to be able to simultaneously telepathically communicate with millions of persons without Dinanna usually being aware of the content of that communication.
God’s abilities are considered as increasingly powerful with almost every reincarnation and so the notion of being almighty as a divine attribute was devised as a messianic hope rather than as a contemporary description. Alevi-Bektashi Judaism states that “God is Man” and the Dönmeh community traditionally takes a leading role in the Bektashi order.
